Apostolic Works for KKIOC

This is the main source of apostolic works for the Indonesian Catholic Community In Orange County (KKIOC).

The seven essential elements are intricately connected, each supporting and nurturing the others. At the heart of this connection is the communal celebration of the Eucharist, which inspires these elements. The four key areas of implementation, led by coordinators, work together to evangelize, practice stewardship, and lead effectively.

Understanding these elements and their interconnections is crucial for the community's effectiveness. They serve as a guiding framework, enabling the community to live out Catholic teachings efficiently and effectively, and stay focused on what to pray for, plan, decide, and implement.

From: "The Seven Essential Elements of Parish Life" by Mary Ann Gubish , Susan Jenny

Vatican II

Participating in the office of Christ, priest, prophet, and King, the laity have an active part of their own in the life and action of the Church. Their action in the Church community is so necessary that without it the apostolate of the pastors would often not be able to have its full effect.

The renewal of the Church called for by the Council documents depends in large part on the laity fully understanding not only these documents, but also their shared responsibility for Christ's mission in the world.
