KKIOC recently hosted a fantastic "Strong Body Calm Mind" Pilates session on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at St. Philip Benizi Hall, and it was a truly enriching experience for all who attended!
Led by Christine Sie, the class provided parishioners with an opportunity to cultivate inner strength and find peace. Even Father Sebastian Mulu joined in, staying for the entire session and demonstrating his commitment to holistic well-being. Participants came prepared with their own yoga mats and were treated to refreshing, healthy fruit smoothies after their workout – a perfect way to re-energize!

Christine Sie shared her gratitude and enthusiasm: "Thank you Maya for encouraging me to go out of my comfort zone. Even though I have been doing Pilates for many years, I never really taught Pilates class, not even once. Thank you everyone for joining Pilates class yesterday, you guys did awesome 👏. I hope you all had fun as much as I did 🤩 😍"
The Pilates session was thoughtfully followed by a Rosary Prayer, creating a beautiful transition from physical to spiritual nourishment. To complete the evening, attendees enjoyed a delicious Indonesian dinner and tasty Indonesian snacks, fostering a wonderful sense of community.
